To weigh or not to weigh? Is the scale a good idea? {That's Fit}

Jun 29th 2007 4:25PM Definitely a good idea to have a scale...

It can be motivational. It also lets you see what certain activities/foods/combos do to your body. It helps you learn about you. I found out really quickly what foods were good for me and what was not based on trial and error and scale.

Like mentioned above, I blamed clothes not fitting on the dryer ;(

May 23rd 2007 10:52AM Sounds like a good set of reads. I would like them. :)

There are more than 24 hours in a day {That's Fit}

"I saw we definitely do not need it!"

Since the mindset has gone from eating 3 meals a day to 6 smaller ones, why wouldn't sleep change as well. I would think that we would go towards sleeping around 3 hours then staying up 6 hours at a time. It just seems as though sleep will change from the historic view of how it should be done.

Workplace Fitness: The "walk and work" desk (are you kidding?) {That's Fit}

May 16th 2007 12:04PM Well, I would like something similiar to this. Though this might not be the best solution it is a step in the right direction.

I have spent much time looking for a bicycle pedal system I can use in my normal chair while working. It would just allow me to do something while banging out 9-12 hours at the office... I think the pedal would be great and it could work well (though the chair and user position would have to be rethought out).

Trying to excercise while being in a cube all day and having infants at home is a bit rough. Any method of merging the two is great.

May 16th 2007 10:09AM Seems like it would be an interesting read. I am interested in traveling to the places discussed and hearing about them with humour would be great. Seems to have great reviews as well from amazon. I look forward to the read.

Taste Test: Diet Coke Plus {Slashfood}

May 7th 2007 4:17PM If you drink 8-10 cans a day you can get %100 of a few vitamins...

"Each 8-ounce serving of Diet Coke Plus provides 15% of the daily value for niacin and vitamins B6 and B12, and 10% for zinc and magnesium"

The Perfect Folding Bike? Or just a Cool Design? {Gadling}

May 7th 2007 3:58PM I think that is the British spelling of the word. ;)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humor

They do spell many things differently over on the other side the pond. I was studying over there for a while and I beat my head for a good 5 minutes wondering why spell check on office wouldn't let me change words to the "correct" spelling. I finally figured it out.

I wouldn't talk too much jazz about his spelling. Though, obviously he didn't put much time into editing.
