Spring Breakers head to Mexico despite drug wars {Gadling}
Feb 20th 2011 6:56PM Thanks, Justin. It has become my life's work at age 65 for St. Louis to get the positive national and international recongnition it so richly deserves. I love this town and can say that with credibility as my work has taken me to 45 countries and 6 continents! Check my wife and I out at

Feb 20th 2011 6:13PM Justin, please read my comment again. Note the unfairness of painting an entire county and region called "St. Louis" with this negative stuff when it only applies to an 8 square block area of a 66 square mile area of a county of 524 square miles and a region of 8700 square miles. If you have an email address I can send you some information. If you prefer, please go to this website and click on all the links at the top of the page. You will get my drift.

Feb 20th 2011 5:46PM Kind of a cheap shot at St. Louis don't you think? It probably doesn't matter to you but chew on this -- the St. Louis Combined Metropolitan Area (CMSA) is the 15th largest in the country with nearly 3 million people. YET the Crime Ranking for the St. Louis CMSA ranks a lowly 103rd -- far below what you would expect given its overall size! Not exactly the kind of dangerous place you are trying to paint! Downtown St. Louis is only 66 square miles; St. Louis County is 524 square miles; and the Combined CMSA is over 8700 square miles. Painting a wonderful metro area with your negative brush is not fair to the overwhelming majority of people who live outside the 66 square miles of Downtown. Ever thought about being fair and checking your facts first?
