I would love to use Airbnb on an upcoming trip to NYC, but in the little bit of research I've been doing found that it's actually illegal to rent a room for less than 30 days in NYC... supposedly some new law that went into effect last year. I've read through several TripAdvisor threads that mention this, yet I can't seem to find anything concrete to back this up. Has anyone else heard of this?
