Cell phone signal helps rescue five American sailors {Gadling}

Jan 30th 2011 4:01AM I bet you it was a GSM tracfone. Probably a cheap motorola of sorts. Some basic phone that's real good at only two things: picking up signal, and talking. I got myself a back up phone after having one scary night, and since then nothing seems to want to go wrong so I can use it. Until then though - happy days
