it's restored (it can) to it's original condition, how much will
that cost? Second question, after the renovation, how much would
it have to be sold for in order to realize a profit? Thirdly, who
would buy a "Mansion" in Sarpy County, Neb. with the way the
economy is today? This house would be a "nightmare" project to
restore, with all the plumbling,and electrical wiring shot.
Tearing down such "mammoth" house would be a "nightmare" project.
The only solution would be to "control burn" it down. I bet this
was the "agreement" that both the developer and the city/county
reached before the developer shelled out one dime. Developers
are out to make money, not make "you" money.

Feb 23rd 2011 6:08AM I don't see Denver going "loco" over Carmelo leaving, like Cleveland did when Lebron left. Why? Because Carmelo din't save the Nuggets francise like Lebron saved Cleveland. It's funny how the media bashed Lebron for his trade, now everbody and his brother is doing it. I call Lebron the "Curt Flood" of Basketball. Before Flood sued in Baseball to be traded, and won. Such wasn't heard of in baseball, not it's passe. Now in basketball, players (thanks to Lebron) are enjoying a freedom Jordan or Barkley NEVER enjoyed. Did you watch the slam dunk contest? Jordan's style dunks that won him the trophy in his day, won't even get you past the first stage. Griffin and McGee both should have won, they were awesome. All the contestants were awesome.

Feb 19th 2011 8:58AM In the next twenty years there won't be an "Historic" black school standing. All will be destroyed. Why? Lack of funds. Who said that? The WHITE school board who is hording all the Educational Funds to keep all the "Historic" white schools open. Or build some new school, and call it a Charter, Magnet or what have you school. High Tech segregation is in all our cities. It funny how they are busing white kids into the inner city New Magnet schools, and busing the black students to there old white schools. Bring back the neighborhood schools. To hell with intergrating the schools. It only cost us our best black teachers, school bands and student moral. Bring back those happy days of "All Black High Schools". Black students being taught by Black teachers.
