That and the transferring to Auburn of Tebow's backup at Florida will help us ince again be in the top tier of the SEC, the nation's toughest football conference. Apr 21st 2008 7:52AM This whole "Philly fans booed Santa Claus" is so old. A skinny 20 something year old guy in a Santa outfit ran out onto the field in the 1960's and got booed. The story has taken on a life of it's own and is often repeated.
Fans in the northeast are no exception. In Cleveland, they had to stop a football game a few years back because players were getting pelted with bottles. In NY, they throw snowballs onto the field and players and refs have been injured. Philly bashing is an art form now. You won't find a better sports town with more passionate fans in the country.
Just shut up and pitch Billy!!

Jan 3rd 2008 11:14AM SEC Teams beat up on opponents and they all cry "classless". Hawaii had no business being in the Sugar Bowl. Kansas has no business in the Orange Bowl. Who did they beat? Missouri should have been there instead.
Clemson fans need to quit crying as well. Auburn was the SEC's number 5 team and beat the ACC's number 2.

Had the Brits not held out during the bombing of London, the war would have ended but they persevered. The Brits were in no position to fight the Germans. My parents are English. I am American. I have never experienced anti-Americanism like I have in London.The English are just a tad below most other Europeans in their snobbery.
