Moscow: Now Open 24 Hours {Gadling}

Nov 20th 2006 9:34AM Well the Russians now know how to party I see. I'm curious as to what kind of music Russian party-goers dance to. I've never heard Russian pop music. I'm guessing they're more of the techno type. They should bring in some nice Russian cocktails for the ladies.

New Kennedy Museum in Berlin {Gadling}

Nov 20th 2006 9:34AM Call me stupid but was he German? It's good to know that people from other parts of the world remember him fondly. I know I like Jackie O. Never did find anyone else with such class. I hope they display some of her fine suits.

World's Most Expensive Steaks {Gadling}

Nov 20th 2006 12:48AM Well I'm glad to know those cows were pampered before they were slaughtered. Just thought of cannibals grooming their prey...make-up and hair salon..the works! Then off to the cauldron you go all dolled up :) I know I read somewhere about the most expensive burger. It's in some New York restaurant and costs around 400 dollars if I'm not mistaken.

NY Subway Maps {Gadling}

Nov 20th 2006 12:47AM I always thought maps were a bit boring. Unless of course they lead to a treasure filled cave.I never could bring myself to understand maps. But NY city maps were pretty easy for me. But I think only because manhattan is a grid and very easy to figure out. I still rely on asking for directions though.

HD Expo reminder {DV Guru}

Nov 16th 2006 4:00AM Looks like I missed this one already. How many times a year do they have these expos? I would've liked to see that Cinematographer case study. The behind the scenes creative process would've been interesting too. Anyone have any updates on this? I hope people who were able to attend share the experience.

Reminder -- Mondays at the Hoy Online Poker Tournament Tonight {Card Squad}

Nov 16th 2006 3:57AM I've never really tried my luck at online poker before. I've tried online Bingo and it was a lot of fun meeting all the other playres and chatting with them and the adminstrators. I also tried onlin slots. I lost all my money (which wasn't a lot anyway) but I had a lot of fun. How often do you have these open tournaments? Maybe I could beat you all with beginner's luck :)

Soren Turkewitsch wins N.A. Poker Championship {Card Squad}

Nov 16th 2006 3:55AM Sounds like poker has become like some sort of a sport. I can't imagine the pressure must be in during championships. After all, there's a large amount of money involved. Especially if you know you got people betting on you. Although this game requires skill...I think without luck there's nothing more you can do than hope.

What is a blogger? {The Brian Alvey Weblog}

Nov 16th 2006 2:52AM I don't like the idea of clicking on his brain. Why not make thought waves instead? That would be less creepy. He does have a talent for blogging. But I don't like the fact that he makes himself appear to be authorative in all matters that he chooses to discuss. Too egotistical if you ask me.
