Summer Hotspot: Baltimore, Maryland {Gadling}
Apr 12th 2012 8:19AM I am actually from Baltimore, and I think there are definitely some more sights that are worth going to. They mentioned Oriole Park at Camden Yards, but they forgot to say that there are almost always tickets available, and it is really a great time, especially if there are fireworks afterwards! The National Aquarium is right in the Inner Harbor, and the Baltimore Science Center isn't too far from that. You can also take out little paddle boats right near the aquarium, which is always fun! In Harbor East, there are many little shops and a bunch of nice restaurants, including Lebanese Taverna, the Bond Street Social, and Cinghiale. Also, if you are visiting and want some entertainment, Pier 6 Pavilion has many shows all summer long - all outdoors. I know a couple of great shows are coming this summer, including Chicago and Gavin DeGraw/Colbie Caillat. Hope this helps!

Jan 2nd 2011 2:45PM I really think you should go for it! Calypso is a really pretty name! I stayed at this beautiful house in the Caribbean and it was named Calypso. All of my family's friends and myself thought it was a very interesting and pretty name. Your daughter would love it - it is very special to have a name that very few people have. She will also be remembered because of her name. That is a definite advantage! Don't worry about what everyone thinks - if you like it then go for it!
