In Poll of Favorite Sports, MMA Is Overlooked {MMA Fighting}
Jan 26th 2011 7:17AM Are you nuts? You seriously don't think that MMA would top soccer or boxing? The last event at the Boston Garden (UFC 118) brought in more money for the city than any single sporting event ever in the Boston. This isn't Detroit or Vegas you're talking about...it's Boston. Think about the championship games for the Red Sox, Celtics and/or Pats and to think that the UFC would top them all in revenue raised for 1 event is astonishing to me. I wouldn't put it as people's favorite over those sports but it certainly shows its popularity. Boxing is a fading sport and people in the US don't give a F#@$ about soccer unless the US is still in the World Cup tourney (which usually isn't for long).
James Toney's UFC Experiment Over After Lopsided Loss {MMA Fighting}
Aug 29th 2010 12:08PM James Toney is an idiot if he thought it would last any longer. If he ever thought he had a chance, he's truly dillusional. He had a punchers chance until about 3 seconds in when Randy gave him a simple single leg take down which he had zero defense for. It was "wicked"...pun intended. From there, he looked like a tired turtle on his back just taking the blows that Randy threw at him. If I were Randy, I would've beat him to a pulp but he, being a bit more classy, just did what it took and made him tap to an easy choke. Toney, in all pre-fight interviews sounded like he'd be bringing the "drunk-boxing" style to the ring but that didn't show up...just a drunk sounding mess with no MMA skills whatsoever. What he learned in 9 months is beyone me because he showed absolutely nothing at all. Not even a single leg takedown defense? Really? Boxing has nothing on MMA no matter who steps in. Not like there's any boxer with overall skills anyway right now in 2010. Boxing is a minimal part of MMA which can easily be shut down with the simplest of skills and Lights-Out Toney got his lights turned out early as a result. Some of the Boston fans showed disrespect by booing some of the contenders but they're just rooting for the home town boys since it was the first time the city finally stepped up and allowed it into Boston. I'll deal with that but not happy with it. FINALLY...Thank you Beacon Hill for allowing this great sport to bloom right here in our commonwealth!! Now, spend that money on something useful instead of pensions for you reps getting ready to retire!!

Only 22 Eps for 'Two and a Half Men' This Year {AOL TV}
Mar 25th 2010 6:55AM Correction Lori...3 sides to every story....his side, her side and the truth. Personally, I don't think his personal life is anyone else's business and I love the show.
Dummies' Guide to Justin Bieber - What's All the Fuss? {PopEater}
Mar 24th 2010 2:47PM If anyone saw this kid sing on the CBS Morning Show, then you already know that he wouldn't even "Make it to Hollywood" on American Idol. The little teeny bopper girls like him, but he just has no singing ability whatsoever.
NHL Discipline Still Marred by Inconsistency {Fanhouse NHL Blog}
Mar 10th 2010 4:44PM Pasha - That wasn't a shoulder...that was clearly an elbow. Watch the video. Everyone else out here commenting seems to see it for what it was....a dirty scumbag shot to the head. And for Cooke to get ZERO suspension time is absolutely ridiculous. The Bruins played the rest of that game with class and didn't retaliate but revenge should be right around the corner now that the league refuses to do anything about it. I think they play again in a little over a week or so. If the B's have any pride, they'll take Cooke out hard!
The Fight's On! Floyd Mayweather Has Signed to Face Shane Mosley {Fanhouse Boxing Blog}
Feb 4th 2010 12:13PM This is a megafight? Really? The only possible match-up that could be defined as a megafight right now (in Boxing) would be Merriweather and Pacquiao but Floyd is avoiding that fight better than he avoids punches in the ring. Hey Floyd, Shut up and fight the true champ already! We all know it's not Mosely. You're catching Mosely on the down-swing of his career and even if you beat him with a first round KO, it means nothing to us true fans. Fight Manny or go back to the WWE for more cameos.

Fuggedaboudit: Carl's Jr. Stops Mob Ad Campaign {Slashfood}
Nov 11th 2009 2:36PM This is just ridiculous. Most, if not all stereotypes are born from truths. People that complain are just denying their obvious heritage or roots. People understand that not all Italians are mafia but most mafia or at least most of the famous mafioso were Italian. It's like blacks complaining that not all blacks like rap...true, but most do. Or a white person bitching because a black comic used the stereotype that whites can't jump or dance or whatever. Just be true to your heritage and realize that these differences are what make each of us unique.
M-1 Official: UFC Is WWE of MMA {MMA Fighting}
Jul 31st 2009 1:50PM What the hell does M-1 bring to the table Johnny Cakes other than an overrated fighter who wants an instant shot at the real title. M-1 is a joke and they don't deserve more than 25% if it's a 4 fight card.
M-1 Official: UFC Is WWE of MMA {MMA Fighting}
Jul 31st 2009 1:43PM You're out of your mind! Fedor stands behind M-1...he doesn't want to fight the best. The best are in the UFC and proving themselves by fighting and fighting frequently. Dana and the UFC do look out for the big money fights, but those are only big money fights BECAUSE THE FANS WANT TO SEE THEM AND ARE WILLING TO PAY!! I would never pay for an M-1 event.
