Where to Eat in Barcelona When You Can't Get into elBulli {Gadling}

May 31st 2011 9:32PM Should clarify-his brother's former place (previously known as Inopia). Ate there since the change and it was delicious. There's so much wonderful food in Spain, don't get stuck feeling you need to only follow who's hot (though in Barcelona there also seems to be a lot of touristy, inauthentic food too). Get off the beaten path...

Where to Eat in Barcelona When You Can't Get into elBulli {Gadling}

Ode to the expat newspaper {Gadling}

May 3rd 2011 3:25PM So true! I feel like you get a double dose of cultural perspective from a lot of expat papers...what is going on locally, the expat lifestyle and things that affect people from their home countries (i.e. reading the English language papers in Spain I picked up a lot about the European union and British perspective since they're geared toward the Brit).

And, I think checking out the supermarket (and the local/farmer's markets) is one of the must-dos when traveling.

¡Feliz Navidad! More Christmas traditions from Spain {Gadling}

Dec 25th 2010 3:49PM Thanks for sharing! My husband and I will be living in Spain for 3 months, starting in Jan. and I've been reading a lot of historical and travel essays and books, getting very excited. This piece painted such a picture and it was nice to read on a Christmas when our traditions are taking a back seat as we prepare.

I am ready to be there!
