Mar 26th 2011 3:47PM This article only addresses electronic devices that communicate (cell phones and Wi-Fi). These can interfere with communication. I fail to understand how a CD or movie player could be more dangerous than a hard-cover book, or how devices that only receive could affect the cockpit.

Mar 16th 2011 8:29AM I realize that the TSA agents are just trying to do their job, but the TSA itself is mostly a waste of tax-payer money. Before it's inception the airports had a very good track record for safety. It took the terrorist 2 years of planning to pull of 9-11 and they still couldn't get guns on the aircraft. If the FBI and CIA had done their jobs, it would have been thwarted in the planning stages. Reinforced cockpit doors, armed pilots, and air marshals actually make a difference and are transparent to the law-abiding passenger.

Feb 14th 2011 12:27AM 10 games is a bit steep for a player defending his goalie. I agree he should be suspended, but the length seems disproportionate compared to the other suspensions handed out. If I were an NHL coach, I'd want a goon or two in case my goalie got in such a situation. It's better than losing a goalie.

Dec 15th 2010 8:17PM When did football become a sport for girlie men? I was perfectly legal for the staff to be standing where they were. It doesn't appear that he intended to injure anyone. Penalty? Yes. Ejection/Fine? Maybe. Suspension? Ridiculous!! If the Dolphins don't like it, they can stay in the field of play.
