Re Laptop nowadays especially when on short breaks across Europe, I've left even the netbook behind and just surfed, taken photos with my Iphone.
I've just get the HTC Desire HD so that will be an upgrade on the Iphone 3G in some respects :)

I dunno why Dublin left me so cold....
We have great pubs in Edinburgh!
Maybe because it was of the astronomical price of drinks and going out in the Temple Bar Neighbourhood.
Euro brought many benefits to Ireland in terms of jobs and money but it really inflated the costs of going on holiday for Brits, esp Dublin.
Mind you costs have come down since I visited a few years ago because of the crisis.
I am sure if I hooked up with some locals, I'd be taken to some better local pubs and away from the tourist traps.
Plus heard there was a trend of wine bars popping up all around Dublin-still that the case?
