Feb 28th 2012 8:28AM Gabrielle - You beat me to mentioning Savannah. It was the first place I thought of when I saw the headline.
10 things you probably didn't know about Brazil {Gadling}
Feb 27th 2012 11:20AM Here is my favorite little known fact about Brazil: It is illegal to make a pregnant woman wait in line for anything. That includes dinner reservations at the hottest table in town and long lines at the equivalent of the DMV. Seems like the perfect place for a babymoon.
A light sleeper's lament: six things you shouldn't do in a hotel {Gadling}
Jan 11th 2012 1:08PM Heather, that's awesome. The funniest thing is that the time I was thinking of may have involved my first officer and a hooker! So gross, and such a long night. What's with these pilots?
A light sleeper's lament: six things you shouldn't do in a hotel {Gadling}
Jan 11th 2012 12:41PM I wish this were posted at check-in! When I was a flight attendant, I had to ask people in the hall to quiet down, and just like with you, they said it was 7 a.m. (or whatever) and that I should be up already. Yeah, not when you fly in at 4 a.m. and have to head out again at 2 p.m. Aaaaaaaah. No one ever thinks of day sleepers. And those damn alarms. What about really, really loud bed thumping, screaming etc.? I'm suddenly very happy I'm not flying right now! Thanks.

Five ways to get more European stamps in your passport {Gadling}
Mar 4th 2011 3:55PM I have been to France at least a dozen times, and my passport has never been stamped. I have even asked and been told no! When I filled my last passport, it was mostly with stamps I got upon arrival back in the U.S. Talk about no fun.
Man Sues United Airlines, Claiming Injuries Resulted from Open Aircraft Door {AOL Travel News}
Dec 1st 2010 1:57PM There is something huge missing from this story. It makes absolutely no sense as written. A cockpit door opening in and of itself would not pose any kind of problem. If they're suggesting a rapid decompression, the door could be an effect not a cause. What kind of warning light are they talking about? On the cockpit door? There's no such thing. Do they mean an aircraft door opened midflight.
