I suggest the slow news week last week had a lot to do with this story! Read Jess' news section on her website, ABC on line, or the Sail world article about Jess and read the truth. Another press beat up on Jess to sell advertising?
She has always intended to spend this Christmas at home with her family as she was away last Christmas sailing the world. She has not been banned from sailing in the Sydney to Hobart this Christmas as she didn't apply to!
I think a lot of media people have egg on their faces over this one! Never let truth get in the way of a good story.
