Mt Everest now has cell phone service {Gadling}

Nov 19th 2010 8:01AM Yep, it's certainly scary/amazing where you can use your cell phones nowadays. During flights I still think it's annoying, but somewhere like Everest, where it can mean the difference between life and death, it's a great step forward.
