Beaujolais Nouveau and old: a tale of two wines and two worlds {Gadling}

Nov 21st 2010 12:38PM David - True to your word, a mountainous display of Beaujolais Nouveau (Georges Dubouef, of course) appeared at my local Whole Food Market on Thursday like clockwork! This is a fascinating piece, and very well written. I truly enjoyed it. Thanks for the link and for the comments else where.

The Problem with New York's new Eataly {Gadling}

Nov 18th 2010 3:49PM You make some excellent points. I just visited Eataly last week while on business in NYC and posted a piece about it at http://davidstable.com. I actually enjoyed shopping for imported pastas and oils. It was the dining experience that turned me off. Also, I was there as a tourist. I don't know that I would use it as regular market if I lived there. I did wonder how long it will all last. Once the initial shine wears off with the fooderati, will there be enough interest to keep it profitable? The charter of the original store sounds far more sustainable.

One things for certain: After reading your piece, I'm longing to see the original.
