Apr 18th 2011 2:50PM The right size carry on is the most important tip, one with wheels is great if you have to change planes as you don't have to lug all that weight around. Save your money on a bigger bag that has to be checked in, send a package to your destination via USPS parcel post and it is cheaper.
Nov 16th 2010 2:51PM Living in Upper Michigan we receive over 300 inches of snow during the winter. I remember dressing up in a blue snowsuit (remember the 2 piece suits with the elastic shoulder straps on the pants?) and of course a pair of mittens that my Mom knitted and a "chook" or hat that was home made too. Back in the day we had buckle boots that went over our Buster Brown shoes.... We spent all day out behind our house sledding with a "flying saucer" that was like a flat dish with two handles. Those were the days!
