Jun 19th 2012 8:02PM Wow, more good info. We fly delta when possible, & think they are great. Halifax was great to us on 9-11 when returning home from Amsterdam. When stuck in Barcelona to Moscow they got us back to New York, [I didn't want to go back to Moscow anyway]. Etc. etc. etc. Delta pts. have worked for us. Dubai was great for us & all first class, with a family airline [Aeroflot]. Tell us where to go next?

Nov 11th 2010 1:28PM I've been on 53 cruises, or is it 54? The worst that ever happened was a dining room window blew out during a storm in Alaska. We have never felt in big danger, in fact when we embark we always feel "We are in good hands". Last Spring on Royal Caribbean we went by pirate infested waters off the coast of Somalia as we entered the Red Sea. I was not worried in the least, we had an well armed escort from a capable craft with ex british navy commandoes waving assurances at us for 3 days. I know Carnival would have done the same. My wife & I continue to work hard [Age 69] so we can do what we like in life, travel, & travel by Carnival Cruise Line is our favorite thing to do.
