Lithuania's Hill of Crosses (Happy Easter!) {Gadling}

Nov 10th 2010 10:22PM I visited the Hill of Crosses and having travelled extensively through out europe,it is a must see destination.The belief in ones faith is there on display and for even someone with no real religious affiliation I was somewhat jealous of the pilgrims that visit and the faith shown by the people who created it.It is also very pleasing to see that it hasnt been commercialised.....only a couple of small vedours selling crosses.If you are a christian it is a must to visit this peaceful,serene and inspiring place...for everyone else, I dare you to go there and not be touched by the sheer power of this very special place.
