Funny, I never see men who are required to cover tats, remove earrings or wear ties running to the ACLU and whining because they have to present a professional appearance at work.

Feb 14th 2009 9:22PM Circuit City sold a friend of mine a computer that was DOA, and had its case seal already broken. We brought it right back, and they offered to send it out for repair, but wouldn't exchange it or refund the money. It was a used unit that had beent tamered with!
When the store opened I went to apply for work. They required a signed contract that you would never sue them for illegal practices before they would consider the application. I declined.

If it is applied responsibly (in miniscule amounts it is highly effective) instead of indiscrminately, DDT would eradicate malaria in a few years. We still have malarial swamps full of mosquitoes to spead the disase courtesy of Carson's work of fiction: Silent Spring.

Jan 3rd 2009 10:04AM Cricket, your Tom Tom has a setting that will make the directions prefer Interstates or local roads. It sounds to me like your unit is set to use surface roads whenever possible; you can fix this by spending a few minutes reading the manual and changing settings.
