Take a little time getting to know the area - there are many neighborhoods that are not below sea level, such as nearly all of Uptown, the Garden District, Warehouse District, and several more. Not to mention the neighboring communities that are less than 15 minutes from Downtown.
It's a place like no other, and if you have ever been here for more than Bourbon Street, you will see it's true beauty.
