Calvin Klein's Former New York City Duplex Penthouse Hits Market at $35 Million (House of the Day) {AOL Real Estate}

Oct 31st 2012 2:57PM Has anyone on your staff checked to see if this "Bargain of the Day" is still standing today?

Member Of Secret Disneyland Club Tells All {Gadling}

Oct 24th 2012 9:17AM While stating this club has a 14-year waitlist, this article does not mention the membership limit. Most people are driven by their value system. For some, value for the money paid is the determining factor in making a decision. For others, value is derived in others knowing you belong to an "exclusive" club. And, evidently, for others, such as this "secret member," it is a "family tradition: and an inheritance that allows him to carry on that tradition. After that, he seems to perceive value in meeting and talking one-on-one with celebrities. For me, our family tradition is Thanksgiving dinner, talking one-on-one with old family members and new family members, all the while hoping it goes iwthout incident. There is no "annual fee" to carry on our family tradition and the host serves a wonderful feast at no cost to the "members." This "family tradition" is our "inheritance" and and we all show up every year, whether we want to or not, knowing at some point in time we will be the host. Our membership grows every year. No waiting list. Celebrities welcome.

TSA Officers Fired After Stealing From Passengers {Gadling}

Sep 28th 2012 4:23PM When you got ignored and then pushed around, metaphorically, you should have taken them to court! Whether you won or not, at least they would have to answer in a court of law!

United Cares About [Insert Customer Name] {Gadling}

Sep 11th 2012 10:50AM I knew that letter looked familiar! Last year, there was a 24-hour period when federal taxes could not be charged. During that time, I bought a ticket on United on-line. At the airport kiosk, I swiped my credit card to access my boarding passes. I did not look at the receipt until I returned back home and noticed the total I paid was greater than what appeared on line when I submitted my CC info. I sent an e-mail of complaint and, even though my form letter had the requisite information inserted, it was the SAME, but did not have the sentence, "As a gesture.." blah blah blah. I got nothing! Being a "person of principle" (code words, of course, for no matter how petty, you won't screw me!), I called to politely request my refund be credited back to my credit card. First, just a statement telling me they paid the tax to the government so "no can do." I'll just tell you what time it is instead of dragging you through the watch factory here. Forty-five minutes later after reminding them of my "loyalty," and threats ranging from a call to my local paper to witness me cutting up their "loyalty card" as part of the "human interest" story I would give them to contacting my Attorney General and plastering it all over the internet, I got my money back! With an extremely overt apology and statement of how much they "valued my business." I hope they remember my years of "business" because they haven't gotten any since!

Woman Falls Asleep On Flight To Paris, Wakes Up In Pakistan {Gadling}

Aug 25th 2012 2:31PM It is absolutely impossible for this to happen by "accident." When the aircraft arrived in Paris, after deplaning the crew is responsible for checking seats, lavatories, and opening overhead bins to assure all passengers and their belongings are gone. Then the cleaning crew comes on, cleans the cabins and lavatories. Prior to boarding the new passengers, again, the cabin crew checks the cabin and the lavatories. This procedure is repeated at each stop! Additionally, what would be the likelihood that the Paris-bound passenger's seat had not been assigned to other departing passengers either destined for Italy or Lahore, Pakistan. Unless, of course, PIA has NO procedure in place to avoid this type of incident!

Bill McMachen of Michigan Buys Hundreds of Foreclosed Properties, Dirt Cheap {AOL Real Estate}

Aug 4th 2012 2:42PM And the RICH GET RICHER! How many "American (fading) Dreams" has this man stolen from those who do not OWN Yacht dealerships and, perhaps, would have had this opportunity as their only chance to ever own a home because it fit their "dirt cheap" budget?? American Greed capitalizes on American need every time. So, now those would-be dreamers will not only NOT own a home, they will pay much higher rent to the investors so they can make their millions as McMachen will make his TEN MILLION. Who ate the "Christian fish" when no one was looking?

'Project X' Copycat Revelers Allegedly Wreck $500,000 Home {AOL Real Estate}

Mar 17th 2012 10:46AM So, two criminal vandals were "young enough to be returned to their parents?" What a moronic decision. Their criminal acts are a clear indication their parents are negligent in their parental responsibilities. Place those juveniles in a detention home and prosecute the parents. The builder should not bear the $100,000 cost of repairs, nor should his insurance company. These 13 offenders are a threat to society and deserve no considerations. If the parents are not going to teach them how to be law abiding citizens, then leave it to law enforcement before their actions escalate.
