Britney Spears Versus Britney Spears in Dance Off {PopEater}
Apr 12th 2011 6:02AM She is NOT the same person she once was. About four years ago, while traveling across a desolate stretch of desert in her tour bus, she (and others of her entourage) were set upon by aliens from the planet Zironia 12, who invaded her body and took over control of all functions, incluing her ability to dance, sing, and play the accordian. Since then, the aliens have controlled her every move, and are using her song lyrics to send subliminal messages to every human being on Earth. It's all part of a deep, dark plot to get us to eat more whole-grain foods, floss daily, and seek happiness through internal fulfilnes. (Uh...yeah!)
Barack Obama Picks Bears Over Packers {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Jan 21st 2011 5:43PM You realize, of course, that if Obama is picking the Bears, that the Packers will win for sure. They have to...the Bears will be very, very predictable. All their throws and all their passes will go left. Plus, there will be a lot of handoffs to inferior players, who couldn't have made it on their own. Nope...the Packers will kick butt. Thanks, Osama. (Oh... I meant to say Obama.)
Brett Favre's Sister, Brandi, Arrested in Meth Lab Raid {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Jan 13th 2011 5:46AM That's the same as during the track & field events of the Olympics, when you can win a gold medal in either the single event of shotput, or the team equivalent, which is shootput.
One State to Rule Them All in 2010: The Year of New Jersey {AOL TV}
Dec 23rd 2010 9:11PM I was born and raised in New Jersey, and lived there for eighteen years. I must admit that I left for a reason; it is too crowded, and the people I knew were too artificial for my likings. Everyone was always so mad at each other, and the crowds seemed to make people all the more competitive. I'm not saying that everyone is like that there; it was probably just my own little circle of people. But I'm much happier where I am, as it's a lot more polite and a lot less crowded. My mom still lives in New Jersey, and I visit her a few times a year.

Big East Report: Conference Balance Turns to Chaos {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}
Oct 30th 2010 1:33PM I am sorry that you are so absurdly upset by your preference of one conference over another. Try to remember that it's a game. My suggestion would be that you take some time off from watching the game and do something else that doesn't put you in such a foul, pessimistic mood. (Hugging your wife or kids might do the trick, unless you are equally as down on them, too.)
Why I Got the Word 'Open' Tattooed on My Back {Lemondrop}
Oct 2nd 2010 6:14AM This was an interesting article. I'd never get a tatoo myself, but the choice to get one and enjoy it is purely a personal matter. The only pieces of ink art I don't understand are those that are garish and "in your face," such as the skinheads who have something vulgar imprinted on their foreheads. That, of course, is a very different matter.
Regardless, I was wondering while reading this piece about the religion of the author, and the way in which she related to her 86 year-old grandfather. Assuming that he, too, is Jewish, that means that he lived through the Holocaust, and is old enough to remember is. Jews who were inprisoned in German concentration camps were tatooed with a number, which, of course, became a symbol of that age of genocide and senseless violence. (By the way, I too am Jewish, although not quite old enough to have lived through that era.) Could that aspect of receiving a tatoo have influenced her grandfather's sentiments on the matter? My guess is no, that his cautionary attitude was driven solely by the message conveyed by the text of the single-word tatoo. Still, though, I do wonder whether these prejudices remain within that ethnic community against the general concept of tatoo art.
Trent Edwards Released by Bills {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Sep 27th 2010 5:51PM Hey - I'm a Buffalo Bills fan, (unfortunately), and I've got to say... Edwards completed more passes than almost any other quarterback in the NFL. The only "down" part is that most of his passes were "completed" to members of the other team's defense. But, they were completions, nonetheless!
Miss Universe Body-Paint-Photo 'Controversy' Feels Oddly Familiar {Lemondrop}
Aug 17th 2010 8:11PM I know several of these pageant contestants personally, (and am related, by marriage, to one). They are all empty-minded, scatterbrained idiots who would kill their own mothers for a chance at winning. It is a world of "me-me-me-me," and anything said to the contrary is only rubbish. I'm sorry, but I really don't care what they do with this bunch of overhyped bimbos. They are all trash, and the whole lot could go to hell, for all I care. Nothing lost of real value.
