Jan 23rd 2012 2:16AM The logic of most of you who have commented on my comment seems to be: There are a lot of places that are dangerous to visit, so you might as well visit dangerous Mexico. I beg to differ. You want a vacation? Go somewhere where the locals don't have any percentage in killing you. You know, Hawaii, Vienna, even, god forbid, .Canada. The only think you have to fear above the border is too much Molson or being bored to death, eh? You don't have to watch out for drug cartels, bandits, or islamic fundamentalists. And, above all else, if you trust a travel writer to tell you the truth about your safety, you better double up on your insurance before you book the flight.
