Oct 20th 2010 9:13AM Generally speaking John, it's true that many countries do not like "us", but it's really not the "us", it's our government they hate, particularly the ARROGANCE, our.... a-hem...... "leaders" .....shove down their throats. I so wish this would change as it embarrasses me so much and I'm soooo ashamed of their poor behavior. Please keep in mind, Ghandi said: "You are the change you wish to see in the world" so I encourage all American travelers to NOT be "the UGLY American" when overseas.
