Sex Offenders' Homes Get Warning Signs in Bradford County, Fla. {AOL Real Estate}

May 9th 2013 4:24PM I may be for the signs since it can be a way to protect the community but, if I was a neighbor and see that sign on my neighbor's property, I will be concerned with what effect it will have on my property's value. It will also make selling a home more difficult.

House of the Day: Frank Lloyd Wright 'Bootleg' House {AOL Real Estate}

Nov 29th 2011 3:54PM This is not the only "bootleg" house Frank Lloyd Wright designed. There are several others, most of them in Oak Park near Wright's own home. It was the discovery of this extra-curricular activity that led Wright to leave Louis Sullivan's firm and to establish his own practice.

As for the commenter who said he'd remove the vintage bathroom pieces and replace it with a modern jacuzzi, keep in mind that, although the house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, it is an 1890s house, and was built before Wright perfected his unique style, so period fixtures are appropriate.

London's Temple of Mithras is moving back to its original location {Gadling}

Nov 20th 2011 2:58PM The origins of Mithriasm is not clear and debatable. The Romans began practicing Mithriasm in the First Century C.E., at the same time Christianity began spreading. Mithriasm is fundamentally different than Christianity in that, in its most common practice, Mithras was born from a rock as a adult and that the slaying of a bull was central to Mithras worship. In fact, very little is really known about Mithriasm and its theology since it was a secretive religion and its practitioners left few writings on the religion, making the religion's beliefs and practices debatable. More about Mithriasm and its alleged similarities with Christianity at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mithras_in_Comparison_With_Other_Belief_Systems

Confederate Flag Gets South Carolina Neighbors Up in Arms {AOL Real Estate}

Sep 27th 2011 6:02PM The Confederate flag is banned in several European countries as a racist symbol even though they had no part in the American Civil War. Why can't the U.S. likewise follow instead of appeasing these racist tea-baggers who claim it's part of their heritage, which is of slavery and hate.

Emma Stone's Bad Habits: 'Sugar, Wine and Heroin' {PopEater}

Jun 28th 2011 3:33PM The first sentence in my reply about should read "...ignore the reasons why WE struggle to make a living." I wish they would allow us to edit our posts to correct any mistakes we make.

Emma Stone's Bad Habits: 'Sugar, Wine and Heroin' {PopEater}

Jun 28th 2011 3:29PM So you think we the public should know every intimate detail of some A-list actor or actress's life and ignore the reasons why they struggle to make a living. One reason why this nation is in a mess is because people like you care more about who this celeb is dating or what place another celeb is partying at than what the politicians in Washington are doing with our hard-earned tax money. I care more about what the bureaucrats in Washington and the Wall Street fat cats are doing than the overpaid Hollywood entertainers because what Washington and Wall Street does affect the way we live. If more people paid attention to Washington and Wall Street rather than Hollywood we would not be struggling to make a living.
