America's Meanest Airlines {Gadling}

Apr 11th 2011 3:21PM Sorry, where did you get your info? Ask any pilot in any poilot/airport circle, southwest has one of the worst for safety...and the most recent happenings finally give the public a clear picture. Think about it, if their fares are so low...how are they saving money?

New Book - 'Dog, Inc.' Covers the Inside Story of Cloning Man's Best Friend {Pawnation OLD}

Jan 4th 2011 3:51PM To me, cloning dogs (or anything else) seems so stupid. The cloned being woudl only be an identical twin, it will not be the exact same being. The article says this but I feel like it should be more profound. What would be the point of cloning? The reason you love your dog (I hope) is for its personality and you can't clone that. The cloned being would be the same when it comes to it's DNA but you can't replicate the dogs personality.

Child's Tantrums Wearing Us Out! {ParentDish}

Oct 19th 2010 3:59PM There is a difference between a child having an "issue" (as you like to call it) and a child throwing a fit because he doesn't want to do his homework or eat his veggies. If the child has a genuine problem (whether it be with school, friends, whatever), then yes the child may need some help and guidence. But other times the child does need to be told to "stop" and "get over it" cause doing his homework is not an option.

How much does an American Girl doll really cost? {WalletPop}

Oct 13th 2010 1:33PM I had two american girl dolls, growing up. The dolls and any accessories I received were always special occassion gifts. I really enjoyed them and still have them. They do hold up very well if you take care of them. And the article says they can cost over $600 but if that amount is spent over time, I don't see anything wrong with that. I mean, how much is spent on other toys, combinded. Also, alot of places sell "American Girl" clothes at a fraction of the cost. Or you could teach you daughter to sew and she could make her own.
