What a wonderful picture of you. Merry Christmas to you too!

Greyhound travel: The imperfect lover. Reality, the Twilight Zone and being jilted {Gadling}

Dec 22nd 2009 5:20PM Todd, I remember that story well. It is one of the most awful stories, but I don't think such a situation is something that can be prevented. It would be great to think we can have such control. .

I tend to look at all the things that happen well in a day with all the people who travel about the planet with kindness and goodness. My husband says I should be in "Up with People."

By the way, I have known tragedy. My uncle was ambushed in Mexico when he was 33 and traveling by car. He wouldn't have hurt a fly. He was shot five times. This incidence has had an impact on my life that I am just discovering. This happened when I was 15.

A TSA simulator courtesy of Playmobil {Gadling}

Dec 15th 2009 4:03PM Kent, I laughed loudly quite a few times. I particularly like the sending the carrier with baby still in it through the X-ray machine and what looks like a spanking TSA style at the end. You are too, too funny.

OJ scandal! Has American Airlines lost their minds? {Gadling}

Dec 15th 2009 11:00AM Annie,

With a weekend of flying to NYC and back, I just had time to read your post. I did read the headline though. Yesterday when I was flying back to Columbus on American Airlines I did hesitate to order orange juice, but tookt the chance. The flight attendant was sweet as pie when she popped the top and poured. Whew!

Sarah Palin and Hawaii don't mix? About comfort zones vs going rogue {Gadling}

Dec 9th 2009 12:01PM Sam, if you click on the link, you'll see the article where the info is from. Also, if you notice, I didn't call her racist at all. The point of the post has to do with comfort zones. Racism has nothing to do with it.

The comment I read about Palin brought about the idea of comfort zone travel.

Photo of the Day (8-26-09) {Gadling}

Dec 6th 2009 4:48PM TR,

It is a wonderful shot so I'm glad you had a lovely surprise. Miss Gadling for a day and there's no telling what will happen.

Maybe that dog and goat are best buds which is why the dog seemed to resemble a goat to me. Maybe the goat barks.
