Jan 21st 2010 3:13AM Mack,
Thanks for the comment and suggestion. Next time I'll head for the donkey trail!
Dec 23rd 2009 5:58PM Annie,
What a wonderful picture of you. Merry Christmas to you too!
Dec 22nd 2009 5:20PM Todd, I remember that story well. It is one of the most awful stories, but I don't think such a situation is something that can be prevented. It would be great to think we can have such control. .
I tend to look at all the things that happen well in a day with all the people who travel about the planet with kindness and goodness. My husband says I should be in "Up with People."
By the way, I have known tragedy. My uncle was ambushed in Mexico when he was 33 and traveling by car. He wouldn't have hurt a fly. He was shot five times. This incidence has had an impact on my life that I am just discovering. This happened when I was 15.
Dec 22nd 2009 10:04AM Volker, thanks so much for sending this along. How very, very sad.
His poor family. So sad.
Dec 18th 2009 11:17PM Andrew,
I enjoyed reading this and picking up on details I wouldn't have thought of. Very informative.
Dec 16th 2009 11:52PM Mike, how wonderful you were able to enjoy Prague at such a lovely time of year. Another terrific city for the holidays is Copenhagen. Very magical.
Dec 15th 2009 4:03PM Kent, I laughed loudly quite a few times. I particularly like the sending the carrier with baby still in it through the X-ray machine and what looks like a spanking TSA style at the end. You are too, too funny.
Dec 15th 2009 11:00AM Annie,
With a weekend of flying to NYC and back, I just had time to read your post. I did read the headline though. Yesterday when I was flying back to Columbus on American Airlines I did hesitate to order orange juice, but tookt the chance. The flight attendant was sweet as pie when she popped the top and poured. Whew!
Dec 9th 2009 12:01PM Sam, if you click on the link, you'll see the article where the info is from. Also, if you notice, I didn't call her racist at all. The point of the post has to do with comfort zones. Racism has nothing to do with it.
The comment I read about Palin brought about the idea of comfort zone travel.
Dec 6th 2009 4:48PM TR,
It is a wonderful shot so I'm glad you had a lovely surprise. Miss Gadling for a day and there's no telling what will happen.
Maybe that dog and goat are best buds which is why the dog seemed to resemble a goat to me. Maybe the goat barks.
