Lance a Lot...In Fact, Too Much? {Gadling}

Nov 17th 2006 1:00PM Interesting observation Erik. I took a quick look at their archives. Lance has been on the cover every year for the last four years:

2006 - Dec. The Outside 100
2005 - Jul. The Greatest Athlete in the World
2004 - Jul. Can Anybody Beat this Guy?
2003 - Jun. Exclusive Interview

If you look at their covers through the years it looks like there has been a general shift towards highlighting more celebrity athletes. In '06 they've had Bode Miller, Armstong, Landis, Landon Donovan, and Kelly Slater on the cover.

Verge Magazine {Gadling}

Nov 14th 2006 12:44PM I'm a big fan of volunteer travel too. Another magazine that might be of interest is Transitions Abroad.

They've been around for a long time and have a lot of online resources to check out.

Mexico Suggestions??? {Gadling}

Nov 8th 2006 6:38PM If you want to get away from the crowds of the Mexican Riviera, Tulum is a great place to spend a few days. Stay in one of the many simple beach huts that predominate the area.
