Jan 11th 2007 9:45PM I first read the LOTR series in College. I was sure that the movie version would slice and dice Tolkin's imagery; but NO- he made good on those words. I like many, many others the drama, and poignancy wowed me & brought tears...
I, too, trust Peter Jackson. I would see the attempts of another; but I don't want that. That would risk a director with his own vision, independent of Tolkin's and mine!

Open your ears and look beyond a clip to the whole truth, vs. the Bush-- "believe me". It's his leadership that caused AND is losing the war in IRAQ, ot Sen. Kerry's vote to go in.
