How to get free wireless at any airport {Gadling}
Jan 26th 2008 11:54AM You can also go sit on the floor outside the President's club (or other airlines first-class lounges) and poach the rich people's WiFi -- this works great in Houston.

Here's a part of the chicken you never thought of eating {Slashfood}
May 8th 2007 1:56AM In Nicaragua, they call this part of the chicken the "pipi-regallo." Before a cockfight you chop off your roosters pipi-regallo and feed it to him to make him brave and strong. In other countries, the same word is slang for "clitoris."

Cruise Ship Dumping {Gadling}
Dec 14th 2006 12:56PM The legality of this is still up in the air, though I have a Belize City council person checking on it for me. She says that even though the barge owner was granted a contract, Belize laws prevent the country from accepting another nation's waste. In the meantime, several Belize forums have picked up the thread, and both provide some interesting outside links on the issue (thanks for that Hawaii link, by the way):

Gadling Podcast: Joshua Berman {Gadling}
Sep 21st 2006 9:34PM Thanks for the kind words, Willy -- yeah, I actually consider the guidebooks as an extenstion of my Peace Corps service, in the sense that the books are a celebration of Nicaragua and a way to support many small businesses. Not to mention an excuse to keep traveling, working, and living there.
