North Carolina Paying Teenage Girls Not to Procreate {Lemondrop}

Jul 6th 2009 7:30AM This is not a government program to be funded by taxpayers. Tell your daughter you will pay her not to get pregnant if you wish, but the government is not your daughter's personal nanny nor is it personally responsible for doing your job as her mother.

Barack Obama, Thank You For Not Smoking in the White House {Politics Daily}

Dec 8th 2008 10:48AM Amazing...the leader of the crowd that wants more and more control of our lives supports a President-elect who's a cigarette smoker. Obama can't smoke in most restaurants, nor most government buildings, but he can light up in the White House. Isn't that, when you get down to basic details, just another government office?

Supreme Court Not Considering Obama's Birth Certificate Case {Politics Daily}

Dec 5th 2008 2:23PM Since the issue has re-arisen, I've done a search on Barrack Obama's birth certificate, and found a purported image of "it" on various Democrat thematic sites. Aside from it not being signed by any official, there seems to be the lack of basic info that I have on my GA birth certificate, and there appears not to be any notary stamp anywhere on the purported document. It's strange, in this day, that there not be copies available for view. My school had to have a copy when I was enrolled, my Little League required a copy when I was first enrolled, and every Little Leaguer who makes an All-Star team has to provide a certified copy at every tournament, and of course I had to present a copy when I applied for my drivers license and passport.

AOL Straw Poll: Aug. 25-Sept. 1 {Politics Daily}

Aug 29th 2008 2:21PM In a way, Obama tried to copy Martin Luther King's anniversary speech, only Obama's will be remembered as his "I have a Pipe Dream" speech.

The Democrats are trying to put Ralph Reed in the same boat as Jeremiah Wright. Hmmm, not a bad idea and long as neither has an oar to row back to shore with.

When Bill Clinton ran for President in 1992, one of his prominent promises was "a tax cut for working families". Remember his first address to the taxpayers following his election? He said he had worked as hard as he could to do it, but he just couldn't find a way to make that promise good. If you forget history the of Democrat promises, history will repeat itself. Now, what's Obama promising about "a tax cut for working families"?

Obama's promise of providing "an army of new teachers" sounds ominously like Clinton's 100,000 new policemen promise; unfunded and not going to happen.

Listening to Obama's "pipe dream speech" revealed he hasn't been in Congress long enough to understand how Congress works.

About the only thing Obama didn't promise was the he was going to get us all a round of golf at Augusta National during Masters Week.

If Obama had walked out to the podium wearing a cardigan sweater, his "Jimmy Carter" mimicry would have been complete.

Obama calls our country "the best in the world" but asks us to elect him so he can completely "change" it. Huh?

With all the unredeemable promises Obama made last night, his speech sounded suspiciously like the one he used running for Student Council president.

Obama promised "an army of new teachers"; does that mean the Federal Government is going to take over all the school systems, too?

With all the sensitivity placed on racial stereotyping, why wasn't Jimmy Carter taken to the wood shed for describing Obama as a "black boy"?

Had God wanted government to be responsible for all people's needs, Jesus could simply have addressed Augustus Caesar, and Tiberius, and laid down the law. Jesus wanted each of us to be personally responsible, caring, and involved with each other because we need to know and understand the path to heaven.

Mac vs. PC 2 {Switched}

Aug 6th 2008 11:00AM Both of these scenarios work: Either Apple needs to come down in price on it's operating software costs (the hardware is basically the same for Macs & PCs), or the PC manufacturers should explore making better systems within the large disparity between the retail costs of Macs & PC's.

Why tax cuts ruin the economy {BloggingStocks}

Jun 7th 2008 9:31AM I'm writing myself a letter to remind me not to let my child attend Brabson College when she graduates in a couple of years. Cohan must be a DNC board member.

Kennedy to Hillary: 'No Veep For You!' {Politics Daily}

May 10th 2008 8:09AM Hillary will not accept the VP spot. Bill wants to live in the White House again; Blair House is just not on their agenda.

Hot Seat: Is Obama 'Over' Wright? {Politics Daily}

Apr 30th 2008 3:09PM It's easy to see why Obama hides his middle name (Hussein), but it's a flip-flop for him to drop his personal name in favor of his legal given name. Can you see him dropping by a meeting of the NAACP and introducing himself as "Barry Obama"?

Hot Seat: Is Obama 'Over' Wright? {Politics Daily}

Apr 30th 2008 3:05PM Let's see...Obama's trashed the woman who "raised" him, and now he's trashed the preacher who "praised" him. Who's next...the never-been-proud-before wife who's "crazed" him?
