Dec 2nd 2008 4:33PM First of all... the ring story is not true. Didn’t any of you even read the article? Or, do you all just blindly follow what others tell you? It is jealousy and prejudice that drive your hate.
Secondly, who cares what he buys for his wife with his own money? They've been married a long time and a Presidential Inauguration does not happen to many people (seriously), so if they DID want to mark the occasion and the personal achievement with a piece of jewelry that would surely be passed down to their children, who are any of you to deny them or say it is not right?
Couples everywhere celebrate milestones and achievements with jewelry. Just because it may be out of your price range does not mean it is too extravagant for someone who can afford it.
But again, the story hype. There is no ring.
Even if there were, mind ya'bidness and quit being so jealous of others. In the infamous words of Chris Crocker, "Leave Obama alone! Right now!" hahaha
