Nov 26th 2008 7:40AM I'm white, but I will say this....the last haircut I got was a disaster...I went to a salon I normally go to, not upscale but medium price and quirky...I normally love it. When I went I was told my usual stylist was no longer there and a young white girl with short hair in two pixie tails with blue stripes offered to cut it instead. I should have took one look at her and said no, but I really wanted a haircut. I showed her a picture of where I wanted my haircut to lengthwise (it was a pic of myself, it shouldn't have been difficult) and she proceeded to cut it to her own, much shorter length. It was so short I couldn't even put it in a pony tail, which is an issue since I like to run. It has since grown out, but I won't go back to her. My point is, if a stylist doesn't have hair you admire, don't go. They're going to give you what they know more than what you ask for. In the case of the woman with the dye request, if they don't think they know how, LISTEN to them. RUN don't walk to another stylist. It may seem a bit racist, but at least they were being honest and saying they weren't comfy with doing it, lack of experience cited. You could have wound up with blue streaked pixie tails. Count yourself fortunate!

Oct 4th 2008 8:05AM I think they probably meant he doesn't look like your standard leading man type: Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Laurence Fishburn. Men with that lean, chiseled look that look knee-melting. Think Peter Mensah or Lenny Kravitz types. Forest Whitaker is an excellent actor, no doubt, but he's carrying a few extra pounds and has the look of your favorite uncle or that neighbor down the street who always has an extra beer for you.....not someone who could sweep away a leading lady and make every woman in the audience weak in the knees.

Aug 27th 2008 3:00PM Doesn't appear that their cellulite reduction cream works. Yikes. Tattooed naked women with cellulite don't make me want to buy cosmetics. Neither does a product without some type of packaging to keep it from drying out. At least a biodegradable wrapper or some such, please?

Jan 24th 2008 2:42PM I can see both sides of this....coming from a bdsm background (I'm a Domme), I don't see anything wrong with her desire to live as she chooses, however I don't want to have to explain to my young children why the lady on the bus is wearing a leash. When they're older, fine, I'll explain away, but they are too young for the explanation currently and I'd prefer not to have to lie to my kids because they've seen something that probably ought to be kept to adult-only settings.
While the bus driver was totally, completely and utterly out of line with what was said, I think that the pet in question should keep the sensibilities of others (especially when children are present) in mind when going out in public.

Jul 3rd 2007 10:57AM The chocolate fries are good, believe it or not. I didn't think they would be, but my kids begged for them and I let them get a bag. Curiosity being what it is I had to try them too. They're more snack or dessert than side dish, but they were tasty.

Anyone that spends that kind of cash on something so atrocious ought to consider psychiatric assistance for compulsive spending problems. I concur with the majority of the other comments here, those shoes are far from sexy.
