Nov 4th 2010 11:39PM Several people have mentioned starting or amending your trust, so that it is spelled out as to who will care for your pets if you become unable or on your death. Many states give give very little time, and especially now with overcrowded shelters, your loving pet could be euthanized. I witnessed a family dump a 21 yr old chihuaha at a shelter. A shelter worker picked the poor little thing up by the neck, and threw it in the kennel, because he/she was so scared, and didnt want to go in. I reported him. Make sure you choose someone that you can trust, and leave enough money for your pets care. A friend of mine just amended his trust, making me the care taker of his girls. I am proud to do so.

What a surprise, she spent it, and thinks we should pay her way for the next 18 years. She is so clueless. Her doctor, and lawyers need to start picking up the bills
