Aug 19th 2010 10:44AM I would add falling off of a building. That may seem unlikely, but I have been in 3 places where that happened. Also: getting into a fight and getting arrested are also possible results of drinking and traveling.
Hotel breakfasts: Extra value or just extra? {Gadling}
Aug 9th 2010 11:41AM I never find adding breakfast worth the cost when it is an option. However, mid-range chains that include breakfast for all patrons are often cheaper than hotels that lack a free breakfast, so it is a good deal.
Free breakfast is also a good way to compel my travel companions to get up. "Breakfast ends at 9 AM, get up or we'll miss it!" I don't want to start touring later than that, so this comes in handy. Also, no need to discuss where to have breakfast.
Breakfast times on weekdays do seem very early, geared towards business rather than leisure travelers and earlier than on weekends.
