Traveling the American Road: introducing AOL Travel's Road Trip Across America {Gadling}
May 23rd 2011 12:32PM We'll be living vicariously through you this summer! We do have some regional road rips planned for our family travel blog, but nothing as extensive as yours.
We also love the quirky roadside attractions, and the World's Largest Ball of Twine is at the top of my bucket list. I hope you get to see it! I would also recommend the world's largest bowling pin in FL, the largest light bulb in NJ, and the largest rotating globe in ME.

Endangered Roadside Attractions: See Them Now Before It's Too Late {AOL Travel News}
Mar 15th 2011 10:12PM I hope preservation efforts are in the works for these wonderful pieces of Americana. These historic places tell us what was exciting for the traveler in a simpler time. Also, someone created and built these places. This work may represent their finest hour; their 15 minutes of fame. They deserve some homage.
