May 13th 2010 6:11AM I always taught my children...You can "think" whatever you want but I better never hear it. It was a good lesson..my son 25 now found himself being disrespected by his drunk in-law looking to start a fight..my son remembered my words..bit his tongue ( I am sure to bleeding) but earned the respect of everyone else around including his wife..and I never felt prouder.

Mar 31st 2010 10:53AM I had no problem when my boys hit Jr High and tried this fashion statement. I said "wow, its cool to show your underware now.". So when I got dressed to drive them to school...I put the shortest dress I owned on, with cute matching panties, which showed with the slightest movement. Both teenage boys were horrified, All I said was I want to be fashionable too. Pants up from that day forward all the way around. its all in the parental skills people.

Feb 8th 2010 2:47PM I wouldn't let them build me a tricycle. These guys kept breaking down on "their bikes" in traffic during Laconia Bike Week, years ago. We finally get passed them and all their doing is screaming at each other. They give "real motorcycle riders" a bad name. Glad to see them gone.

I have been married to my best friend for 25yrs, raised 3 great people,and was ready for my next adventure of middle-age,when I got the news. I believe and am not afraid to die. When I read stories like this one, its what frightens me the most, how can I leave the ones who need me most? how can I make this easier for them. I have put all my ducks in a row,made a bucket list,made amends,but it doesn't change the pain of the loss,how do you do that?
my heart and prayers go to those suffering from this pain. it breaks my heart to think every morning the person I love the most will suffer when he forgets for that brief minute and reaches for me.
