Jun 27th 2011 12:55PM While you may very well be a skilled stylist, I think you need to be a bit more careful in your hair advice. Your comment shows me that you have no clue as to the proper care and technique for African American hair. Before going to bed, brading, wrapping, roller setting and applying a silk scarf is quite important to the health and well-being for both chemically relaxed and for natuarl (not chemically treated) African American hair.
As far as the braid technique in this picture, I thought the lose sloppy braid is whats trendy at the momement. My problem with the technique is that it seems as if the stylist was trying to accomplish a too-neat braid style and unless it's perfect it's going to fall short. She should've gone after the looser/sloppier braid to begin with.

You may be a skilled stylist but your comment shows me that you have no clue about African American hair. You shouldn't make such broad comments because what you state is 100% untrue for natural (not chemically treated) African American hair.

I agree Cookie; it's natural to want to mate - it is in our make up so while more priests than not control those urgues, it's really not the natural progression of our species. Priests should be allowed to marry. I'm not a psychologist but I feel that some of the molesting preists feel that since they are not having sex with a woman, they are still not breaking thier vows. As sick as it is, I think that's what they think justifies their actions.

Jan 3rd 2011 8:30PM I disagree with the TP issue. Soft TP is not good for sewage on board or at home. It's no worse than Scott tissue which is what I use at home anyway so I think that bit of info is really reaching for lack of complaint.
What people probably don't realize is that alcohol is not included in the 'all-inclusive' price like it would be at a resort so that can be your most expenive items if you like your spirts. Also not included but not mentioned is the tip for the staff at the end of the cruise. While it is included in some of the higher end cruises, some cruise rates do not include.
And as far as getting kicked off of the ship - I would hope that would go without saying. I don't think it's a must-know for a passenger because one doesn't really plan to be rowdy and disrespectful to staff in advance, do they? I don't know....

Dec 29th 2010 2:30PM I thought the show should've wrapped a while ago. It's plagued with accidents and they are ignoring the signs to pack it up. She is smart. Let them sue her for breach of contract if they need to but I'm sure there is a clause in there deeming her in the right for leaving.

You were being who you were and you didn't look trashy. Not saying you don't look great in the 'after' pic but you definitly don't stand out.
I moved to Florida from New York City and refuse to dress 'down' just to fit in. I don't go grocery shopping at walmart in my pajama bottoms and would not be caught dead doing so. I don't wear heals every where but although I'm a late 30's mother of 2, I keep up my appearance for no one other than myself. I don't care whehter or not I get looks from men; I care that I look in the mirror and say to myself 'you look hot today'.
I'm just sayin'.

Oct 19th 2010 2:37PM Did she really need to ask to be moved or was he abusing her so quietly that no one knew what was going on. It did say that he was screaming at her before they boareded the flight. Alcohol may have caused him not to be able to curb his outburt in public, but it didn't cause him to abuse her. It is obviously his normal behavior but the alcohol caused him to have no filter.
I pray she is not still with him and I'm sorry the children had to witness this.
