Jan 27th 2011 11:13AM We travel only with carry-on baggage even on cruises both domestically and internationally. Just need to be very judicious about clothing; informal and informal.
Jan 25th 2011 2:17PM I would also get a series of HEP B shots and a meningitis vaccine too. There is a combo HEP A and B vaccine, but our Dr did them separately. Even if you have to pay for it is cheap insurance, HEP A is food borne and you just as easily get it in the USA. I knew a person who contracted it college; hard to get over the side effects.
Aug 4th 2010 12:43PM Excellent article; especially on tent size. My wife and I own four tents / outside abodes from a two man back packing tent all the way up to a 19' Airstream. I would like to suggest the following additions:
1. Battery powered fan for the tent; air circulation at night makes it very comfortable;
2. Comfortable chairs makes it very easy to relax outside;
3. Sun shower; nothing like some warm water on a wash cloth to freshen up with; and
4. A martini shaker with the required items; roughing it in style is our motto.
