Feb 10th 2011 1:37PM The most muscular front end on a BMW in a while. And it pays a little homage to the little X1 with those perhaps downwardly retractable cockpit doors.
I think the front end says muscle which is hard to do in such a fluid sleek design. Lots of air dams... not sure if they are designed to cool the batteries though....
Not sure about the tron lights. I think that'd get pretty distracting. But maybe they change color based on how you drive... orange for leadfoot, blue for normal, and green for conservative. That'd be cool... although a dead giveaway to the cops with radar guns...
Pretty neat and doesn't get unrealistic with clear body panels that invite a little too much in the way of privacy incursion.
