May 15th 2009 4:50PM Wow, what an out ot touch article. Unfortunately, where I live, people are having teeth pulled when they can't afford the ultra expensive dental work they require. Or, they are going to foreign countries, such as Mexico, to get quality dental work for a fraction of the cost. Dental work is out of sight financially for more and more individuals, particularly if you don't have insurance. And cosmetic dental work? Ha. I don't know of too many people who can afford such a luxury in this economic climate.

Apr 21st 2009 12:55PM Like so many others, I would come home from school and watch GL with my mom...that was a cozy, comfy time in my life...an after school snack, cuddled up on the couch with mom, watching TV. I will miss GL, especially since it was my one link to my mom, who is no longer living. How sad. Life is full of changes.

This man led us into an unnecessary war, based on false information...an unforgiveable blunder, in my opinion...he lied, thousands died. He personally sanctioned torture, under the guise of keeping us safe. Bull. I certainly would not have booed him had I attended the inauguration, like so many did, but I also do not have any respect for most of his actions as President. The right wingers had their eight years...and now, it is somebody else's turn, thank God.

Jan 15th 2009 11:11PM This is really none of our business, I suppose, but since others are commenting, I felt compelled to do so, as well. I took my full maternity leave and stayed home with my new babies, and never regretted it. I feel a sense of alarm, almost, for those who think it is perfectly acceptable for such women to leave their babies so soon. Sad for them...sadder for the babies.
