Just as our democracy's strength depends upon a robust free press, it is very clear that anonymous journalism also has an important role to play.
What is that role? Look at my example. I've taken a topic that otherwise would get very little attention and covered it in depth with thousands of articles. You may disagree whether Eestor deserves that much attention but there are thousands of daily readers of my sight who seem to think I am right.
My biases are disclosed. Also, before my research there had been no in depth condemnation of Eestor from a scientific point of view--just a bunch of blog comments from amateurs. My John miller and Andrew Burke in depth interviews changed that.
So I have posted pros and cons about eestor. The only thing the haig r's of the world have to complain about is my conclusion based on all of the facts which is that Eestor has exactly what they say they do.
In exchange for my work, all I've requested is anonymity so my day job can be unaffected.
I never claimed to be a perfect journalist but I know I've accomplished something very important that I could not have accomplished had my identity been learned. So on my view, people should respect anonymous journalists decision to be anonymous.
On the other hand, vindictive biased cyberbullying which haig has engaged in deserves no protection.
There is a proper way haig could have conducted his campaign and he wouldn't have created for himself and blog owners a legal risk. But he chose to state repeatedly as a fact that Eestor is a scam.
Either produce the evidence or face the consequences.
So now that his identity is about to be revealed, he will get the oppt to return to my website and continue the excercise of his free speech but he will own his words in the fullest sense.

Jul 25th 2010 8:13AM Eric Wesoff replied to a libel comment on his blog that libeled eestor in such a way to make it seem he agreed with the comment or at least left it ambiguous and refused to clarify. In general too greentechmedia has written several unresearched negative posts about eestor.
So when Eric wesoff chaired a panel with ray lane, he had the oppt to gather first hand info about eestor from a principle player. Lane made a reference to back to the future and flux capacitors when asked about eestor. Insignificant? At the time the trash talker were saying kleiner was no longer engaged with eestor but the comment implies the opposite.
Thus, when wesoff later refused to simply clarify the comment he made in relation to the eestor libel, he opened himself up to be exposed on the eestor topic. What he did was done out of laziness.
When wesoff gave me this info, I was under no obligation to him or lane to keep it secret. I did briefly keep it secret because wesoff requested it after disclosing it. Then when he refused to handle the libel, all bets are off.
Haig, it's very interesting that you would prefer it that information about eestor would be kept secret. Is that preference related to your ongoing smear campaign which is really nothing more than a complaint that you bought zenn high and sold low.
If that is all your campaign is based on, then you are one hell of a piece of work. Stop pretending you are a noble truth teller unless you disclose the basis of your bias.
Also, clarify your experience with UL. Also, I don't believe you were ever a defense contractor and I definitely don't believe you were ever under nda with your employer. I think you lied about this in order to make it seem like you were knowledgeable about UL to ultimately defame Eestor.
I would love to eat my words so prove me wrong. Waste treatment doesn't afford one such opportunities though unless I'm missing something.
If you made it up then admit it and apologize. It will thus not continue to tarnish any legitimate claims you have.

Jul 24th 2010 9:17PM Haig, keep telling lies. You're very good at it. No investors gave dick weir money as you claim. The phone call was to raise money for zenn. Zenn's investments in eestor were set up far in advance of the call you are referring to.
I've always said the eestor delays bother me. But unlike you, an idiot, I don't believe that provides anyone the right to libel eestor like you've done for the past two years.
Haig, what I don't understand is how does a job with a sewer company expose you to the process to achieve UL certification?
Also how does someone who works for waste treatment get a defense contract like you claimed your company has.
Haig, did you tell lies about your background in order to smear dick weir's name? It's one thing to misstate a few facts. It's quite another to tell lies about your background in order to pretend you have some authoritative knowledge about eestor. So did you lie about this?
I don't see how you have any relevant background to judge matters related to UL.
Also, if you lost money investing in zenn, why not just admit it? You've called eestor and zenn a scam so many times it must mean you are holding yourself up as some honest truth seeker. If that's the case then disclose your biases.

Haig, I'm going to invite you back to eestory but you'll need to use your real name to make your libel claims. You have nothing to hide, right? So it shouldn't be a problem. You're a truth telling hero, right?

Jul 23rd 2010 11:07PM Even among the laziest of bloggers, this article is a joke. Did anyone look at a stock price chart to validate the claim in this article of the degree of price drop? No.
Y_ppo believes he can libel eestor anonymously as long as he wants. Haig, you are WRONG and your free speech is soon to be balanced with your identity. Don't worry, no one will take away your free speech, you'll simply be responsible for your claims. So as long as you are correct about your claims you won't face any legal problems. Let's see if you are correct because if so we will put a crown on your head and do a little Armenian dance. We'll need some dance lessons though. Know any Christians who can teach us to dance?
