World's 10 Most Polluted Places 2006 {Gadling}

Oct 25th 2006 3:49PM The fact is....none of us really do anything much to improve our air quality. I couldn't breathe well in Russia (and the smell is unbearable) , but we also have a serious problem here in America to address. Our concrete plants give off toxins that have proven to cause cancer and breathing problems. I love America, but our own people want to place blame elsewhere when they need to check out their own doorsteps. If we don't begin to act more aggressivly, we could end up with bigger problems than addressed in this publication. Part of our problem here is that tax money talks and the issues of air quality are swept under the table.
