Oct 25th 2006 2:54PM Er, I'm Peruvian, but I've lived in the US since I was a toddler, so I've never been introduced to those type of exotic dishes, minus Anticucho which is cow heart (and you'd be surprised how good it tastes barbecued). I have never in my life eaten Guinea Pig, and personally, I never want to! My parents have had if before, but this was in Peru, and it's not often that you find Guinea Pig served in an American restaurant. I am against eating those type of animals. Cow, pig, chicken, turkey, fish...those are normal meats, anything else, no thanks!
And Lomo Saltado is alright, my mom makes it once in a while, but I don't think that's the best food served in Peru. I know that Ceviche is popular there, but I was never a big fan of fish. Um, if you want to try a really good Peruvian dish, try Caldo de Gallina, Anticucho, Papa Rellena, and don't forget, the best soda in the world: INCA KOLA!

World's 10 Most Polluted Places 2006 {Gadling}
Oct 25th 2006 2:42PM z0mfg no you guys do not have Peru in that list!
youre giving us an even worse stereotype than what we have now.
why must we focus on the negative sides of such a beaufiful country that has so much to offer when theres plenty of other positive aspects of it?
i heard a woman say once that Peru is even more beautiful than some countries in Europe, and thats saying a lot.
you guys are sick people and need to get out more often!
kthxbye
