Multigenerational Homes: Real Estate's Next Big Thing as More Families Share a Space {AOL Real Estate}

Nov 25th 2012 6:57PM When my 3 siblings and I grew up in the 50s, four Boston Police Officers(one was my Dad)anti'd up and rented an odd 4-apt beach-house for the summer. Each apt. had a LR,3 tiny BRs and a full bath, but no kitchen. The whole basement was a cafeteria-like space, had four separate areas w/frig,sink,stove and cabinets. Everything had locks on it, but after years of the same close friends and co-habitors, we didn't need locks anymore. It was the best of times; requiring patience, compassion, bonding, discipline and life-long friends. I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I had the chance.

Hiker Finds 40-Year-Old Note Left On California Mountain Top {Gadling}

Oct 11th 2012 12:48AM Fifty-six years ago, my family and I were taken for a ride on an MDC Harbor Boat (Metropolitan District Commision) out of Nantasket, MA. We were probably six/seven miles out of of Boston Harbor, due East. The kids (aged six and eight at the time) were so excited about the "notes in a bottle". They worked on their botle messages all the day before. We used old wine bottles with a screw top sealed in Bees wax and then again in Crazy Glue, and we also left something else in each bottle. One was private and the second was illegal, obtained from a hippie friend, and you can probably guess what that was! Of course, the kids didn't know about the additions. We have never heard from anyone since then. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when either of those bottles are found.

Officer Fired After Entering Woman's Bedroom to Serve Notice for Overgrown Lawn {AOL Real Estate}

Jul 11th 2012 8:24PM Some yrs. back, I was a female living alone in a beachfront cottage. The security on the house was good and my brother's car was parked out front that night which probably deterred a breakin. Next morning, the drugged idiot trying to break in left footprints in the snow at every door and window. The police followed those prints back to his house and he was arrested. I got a gun legally and years later the idiot was murdered.
You can't fix stupid.

Couple Sues Landlord Over 'Haunted' House {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 16th 2012 10:51PM The day - the very moment - the last signature went on the "passing papers", the former owner stood up and announced: "There are no disclosure laws in RI, so I don't HAVE to tell you this, but the house is haunted."
Gee, thank Mr. Buck!
I experienced a plethora of events the very first night I slept in that house (alone), and I was horrified and in terror. The next day, I went to the Lord.
Houses may be haunted, but people under protection ARE NOT. Whatever was in that house and there was something there, I was never bothered or frightened again. For sure, things happened for the next six years, but not a single event raised a hair on my head. Since the house was FAMOUSLY and long-term haunted, people asked me all the time if I was OK there.
Anyone under the spotlight of Grace is hemmed inside a bubble of protection.

Mystery Deepens in Ghost Town Bought for $800,000 {AOL Real Estate}

Oct 10th 2011 2:40PM And if the incoming residents don't approve of having a Federal employee in their midst, what happens to that Postal worker? Don't you have to be an American citizen to be employed by the Federal Gov't?
Are the members of this church immigrants from the Phillipenes or new legalized citizens of the U.S.A.?

Jennifer Aniston Gets Her First Tattoo {PopEater}

Jun 26th 2011 2:31AM As someone has once sad: "We all make mistakes, and we all pay."
I'll never be sorry that I had children early enough for me to play golf with them while they are in their 40s.
As someone else has said: "Fame won't drive you to the Dr. appt. when you are 50 y.o." Fame will not sit down with a bagel and coffee on Sun. mornings when you are in your 50s.
All Jennifer had to do was to give B. a family when he asked. Angelina did the wise thing and gave him what most men want - a family. I feel so sorry for all the beautiful bodies having breakfast alone on Sunday mornings. I'd rather cuddle in bed with tiny, squirmy little bodies and a warm hubby than to float around a sex-unit in an etheral, gossamar, silken gown - all alone.

Friend: George Clooney Dumped Elisabetta Canalis {PopEater}

Jun 24th 2011 12:15AM Clooney is a scab on an infected sore. Some of us cannot forget what he said about Charlton Heston on the diagnosis of Altzheimers. He said Charlton deserves it. What an animal! He should have been sentenced to one year of caregiving for those poor diseased folks. Let's see what KARMA has in store for him in his later years. Suck it up, Clooney! Nobody gets away with everything. We all make mistakes, and sooner or later, WE ALL PAY.

Arnold Schwarzengger Pays Child Support Before Filing for Divorce {PopEater}

Jun 21st 2011 9:01PM BUT - she WAS taking care of his "needs". The housekeeper and Maria had babies at the same time.
Also, he was there for another 13-or-so years. He would have stayed for a lifetime if he hadn't been found out.
So, just how bad could life have been for Arnold?

Arnold Schwarzengger Pays Child Support Before Filing for Divorce {PopEater}

Jun 21st 2011 8:54PM She would have to pay child support if - IF - he was the one with custody. As in any court in the U.S., the parent who does not have custody pays the support. Their kids are old enough to make that decision and they want their mother to have custody.
So, he pays. Actually, she has already paid a pretty stiff price.

Happy Father's Day, Hollywood! Who's Your Favorite Celebrity Dad? {PopEater}

Jun 19th 2011 3:51PM Almost anyone can be a "Father" to a new baby or a little one. That's easy; they're adorable. It takes alot more to be a Dad, and years to build up a good relationship with your kids.
Will Smith has proved himself. So has Tom Selleck and Bill Cosby. Bill gets my vote.
