searching for extrateresterial life, ufos, transmitting signal in to space, etc......... i believe are all wrong activities. our entire focus, i should be on : what if extraterrestrial life contacts us? what will happen? the first is virus and diseases. extraterrestrial life in it self can be very dangerous that it may bring viral and other diseases to earth, since it is new and didn't adapt the earth. the other is a colonization threat. extraterrestrial life if it reaches earth, it is for sure that it has intelligence. therefore there is a great threat to be colonized by it. so instead of spending large ammounts of money just to look up to the sky, we should do every possible effort to prepare for a possible alien life contact. we should divert our attention from looking up to the sky, in to preparation on "what if aliens contact us". we should make our disease defense system strong enough to defend us against any type of extraterrestrial disease. our military system should be capable of protecting us from any possible extraterrestrial attacks. all the efforts that we make just to look up the sky to discover extraterrestrial life, i believe, should be diverted to preparation activities for a possible alien contact. aliens if they exist, will contact us.
