'Dancing With the Stars' Winner: Who Won the Season 11 Finale? {AOL TV}

Nov 23rd 2010 11:26PM Jennifer Grey danced professionally in a movie with Patrick Swayze, a professional dancer. She shouldn't even have been in the competition.

Oksana Grigorieva: Mel Gibson Is a Depressed Lunatic {PopEater}

Oct 7th 2010 10:18AM Why would anyone trust an opportunist's word on anything? This woman is nothing but a gold-digger.

Facebook 'I Like It' Statuses Explained - Why Do Women 'Like It on the Floor'? {Urlesque}

Oct 6th 2010 10:58PM Personally, I thought it was ridiculous when I saw it. Once is enough. Twice becomes ridiculous. As far as breast cancer awareness goes, all I have to do is remember the night my mother-in-law died of it, fighting it to the end because she was too damned stubborn to listen to her doctor and have surgery. I've seen many people die but this was the worst.

'Good Ideas' Author Discusses 9/11 Snafu, How to Trigger Eureka Moments {Asylum}

Oct 6th 2010 2:01PM It's pretty easy to second-guess after the fact, but very difficult to predict events before they happen. Furthermore, the role of the FBI is to investigate crimes, not prevent them. There have been dots connected since 9/11 that weren't really related. Furthermore, the US government is notorious for classifying documents related to sensitive actions and events for decades and then putting out either a false or sanitized version to the public. A good example is the use of the atomic bomb in World War II, all documentation of which was classified for up to fifty years (and some even more, if they weren't destroyed) and which have only recently been released. In short, the American public will never know the real story of 9/11 in our lifetimes.

Consumer Travel Alliance report finds major U.S. airlines not disclosing most fees on websites {Gadling}

Sep 26th 2010 2:20PM Hey look folks, the airlines are businesses that offer services and if they don't make a profit, they can't stay in business. If you don't like their charges, then take the flipping bus!

North Carolina Pulled Pork Menu {Kitchen Daily}

Aug 6th 2010 6:55PM BadBobs is a chain out of Dyersburg, Tennessee. I've not had it and can't comment but there are good barbecue joints all over West Tennessee and the area between the Mississippi and the Tennessee. There should be, that's where it started when Hernando De Soto introduced pork to the Chickasaw about 70 years before the first white men settled in North Carolina.

North Carolina Pulled Pork Menu {Kitchen Daily}

Aug 6th 2010 6:52PM I've had Florida barbecue, as well as Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina (which is better than North Carolina.) In order to get the real stuff, you have to go to West Tennessee, North Mississippi and the Purchase area of Kentucky. (And I don't mean Memphis either!) True barbecue is found in small towns and rural areas, not in cities. I've got a shoulder I'm gonna cook tomorrow just like I learned to cook it back in the 1950s.

North Carolina Pulled Pork Menu {Kitchen Daily}

Aug 6th 2010 5:01PM I wish people would get over this "Carolina barbecue" crap. There is no such thing. Pork barbecue originated in West Tennessee and North Mississippi long before there were any whites in North Carolina. Besides, "Carolina barbecue" is not pulled. It's chopped or sliced and mixed with sauce. I've lived in North Carolina and can tell you their barbecue is the worst I've ever had - and I've had barbecue all over the world.

To Boycott BP: Yes Or No? {AOL Autos - Translogic}

Jul 21st 2010 10:49PM By the way, the Deepwater Horizon leak is not the worst oil disaster in "our nations history." The United States does not include the Gulf of Mexico nor do we own it. Our only claim is to a 200-mile economic zone to protect US fisherman - and oil exploration and production companies.

To Boycott BP: Yes Or No? {AOL Autos - Translogic}

Jul 21st 2010 10:45PM Having worked for two oil refining companies, I can tell you that "boycotting BP" is really boycotting local filling station owners who are buying their gasoline from a local jobber who gets it from a refiner that may or may not be part of BP. The gasoline industry today is so intertwined that there is no way to tell who owns the well from which the crude came, who produced it or who refined it. You may think you're hurting BP by not stopping at stations with a BP sign but you're really boycotting some local owner or regional marketer who is simply a BP customer just like anyone else.
