I have over 500,000 frequent flyer miles and I get a $99 dollar companion fare each year which I use each year for a flight to flight to either Mexico, Hawaii, or Alaska and save anywhere form $300 to $700 with the companion fare. This year my youngest son and I will go to Kodiak Island for a week of fly fishing. The regular fare is $700 a person or $1400 for both...I will only pay $800.

Sep 28th 2010 6:13AM The State of Washington has no income tax. The State of Oregon has no sales tax. Lots of people live across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon. Live in Washington and do their shopping in Oregon. Plus you live in a wonderful part of the country. It is best in the west!
