'Parker Spitzer' Premieres on CNN {AOL Hot Searches}
Oct 5th 2010 7:26PM FAUX News is full of crooked sleeze bags, disgraced pols and ministers. And its General Manager was previously the Republican National Committee's Communications Director...No change in Mission necessary in this new job!
And look up "Dingbat" on the Web, and Sarah Palin's picture shows up next to Christine O'Donnell... Exorcism and Witchcraft anyone? What's the newest conspiracy theory? Sen. McCain really "sold his soul to the devil" in an attempt to get elected President. He probably rues the day he tapped Palin. The Right Wing just used him to push Palin into the spotlight.
But I just love the dupes that are willing to lay out wads of cash to Palin just to hear her rant. The "simple soccer mom" is laughing all the way to the bank with millions of dollars. Even Dingbats can smell an easy buck from a sucker every time.

Oct 5th 2010 5:23PM Why the diatribe against CNN?...Must be "Ditto Head" FIXed News viewers. Now what a dirtbag Network that is! Notice I don't say News Network because its not...its the propaganda arm of the Right Wing/Tea Party Republicans.
FanHouse Roundtable: Calvin Johnson's Controversial 'Catch' {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Sep 13th 2010 5:52PM First, I am a Bears Fan, but I think it was probably a catch. However, I remember a play I did as a First Baseman streching to "catch" a 16in Softball. I caught it with one hand and "followed" the ball down with my hand as it spiked the ground. I did not have control of the ball. It only looked like I had a grip on it. It was ruled an Out. If you look at the replay, you could see that he had the football face down in his hand as he was going down. That left to question if he really "maintained control" of the ball. To overrule a ruling on the field, it must be "indisputable" evidence.
Former TSA Supervisor Admits Stealing Valuables from Luggage {AOL Travel News}
Aug 17th 2010 8:27PM The 1000s of hard-working dedicated TSA workers get pissed at morons like this that steal because it unfairly taints all of us. We are under 24/7 video surveilance. That's why this guy was caught. The cameras proves 99.99% of accusations against us are FALSE. We have seen that when people see the TSA notice in their bag, they see a "blank check". TSA is blamed when the real villians are Airline personnel and government officials in Foreign Travel. There was a theft ring of Airline workers that actually had a storage shed on the tarmac.
Dedicated TSA workers constantly have to deal with many arrogant self-centered travelers who believe the whole world revolves around them. And that they have the right to show up for their flight at the last minute, jump to the head of the line, carry any size bag, take on any number of bags they want, get mad and throw stuff at us. All the while we must stand there stoically and just take it. We do that because we are dedicated to the mission.
This Industry was in the toilet because of lax security. TSA brought back confidence in the system to bring back fliers. More people are flying. In the last 8 years, there has been no TSA-screened attack. (The Christmas incident was screened by Swiss security) The reason that Air Travel is so much of a hassle is because too many are flying on too few flights, all at the same block of time. That is the Airlines' fault.
Top 10 Rules We Wish Airlines Would Enforce {AOL Travel News}
Apr 8th 2010 2:31AM Now, as a Federal Security Officer inspecting baggage, I have my Top 10:
1- Ban all bags weighing over 60 lbs.. If it weighs that much- send it cargo! You don't need to empty the whole Kitchen and Bathroom into your bag. I'm pretty sure you can get that Economy-size jar of Peanut Butter where you're going.
2- Luggage is "luggage"- not a garbage bag or laundry bag with a tag on it. Neither is it a Chain Saw, Computer Tower, Microwave Oven, Flat Screen TV, Automotive Parts, a box of raw fish, etc. Have you heard the word CARGO? What happened to "luggage" as in carrying clothes,shoes,etc.?
3- BACK PACKS...Please realize that you are NOT on the mountain YET!. Someone has to inspect your ROCK HARD packed pack AND try to repack it. We don't have the 2 hours it took you to pack it.
4- OVERSTUFFED BAGS. If it can't fit neatly in your bag, it doesn't go. You don't show up at the airport and realize you've got too much stuff that will cost you that extra fee. And, then, shove the "ten pound" overflow into a "five pound" bag. Leave the junk home. If you "are moving your house" get a moving van.
5- Missing zipper pulls and damaged zippers. (especially on overstuffed bags). Nothing is more aggravating than trying to open and close such bags. Have some pride..either fix the bag or toss it. My fingers are ripped from too many like this.
6- LOCKED BAGS...Actually this is fun for us because we get to use the crowbar and hammer and get physical. If you don't want to fork out another 80 bucks for new luggage, don't lock your bag. If you still insist on locks...use the TSA approved locks that we have master keys for.
7- SHRINKWRAPPED BAGS. Who in their right mind came up this scam? The 1st thing we do in inspection is rip this crap off and throw it away. Its just a big annoyance for us- a waste of money for you.
8- RIBBONS/STRAPS/STUFF HANGING FROM THE HANDLES...You may think its cute,or to make your bag "identifiable". It will be unidentifiable once these things jam up your bag in the conveyor system. The conveyor then becomes a grinder on your bag, ripping it open.
9- REEKING BAGS I know some cultures think the reeking slimy mess in the bag is fine cuisine. Does it have to come with you on board? I don't know how many times I've held my nose and tried to avoid wretching while inspecting these bags. And these bags will stink up and leak over others' bags next to them.
10- SKI AND GOLF BAGS These are for skis and golf clubs. They are not for your books, clothes,and the aforementioned...peanut butter, kitchen and bathroom sundries. These items should be in your "luggage".
GOP Chairman Michael Steele Spends Lavishly on the Road {Politics Daily}
Mar 29th 2010 7:13PM The Right Wingers must have forgot about the $500,000 of taxpayer's money Former Homeland Security Chief Tom Ridge spent on a "lifetime acheivement" party for his no-bid contractor buddies. And then topped it off with another $500,000 party/staff meeting in Hawaii. Video of Rindge in shorts and boozing it up at a luau on our dime went without a whimper from Conservatives. In the meanwhile, people of the Agency that actually work, were freezing our butts on the airport tarmac level "because there wasn't any money available to winterize the area at this time". Typical hypocrisy by thess Republicans.
TSA fails to detect gun at Montana airport - may be replaced by private firm {Gadling}
Feb 7th 2010 11:16AM Sept. 11 2001, PRIVATE SECURITY AT ITS FINEST
The reason you have goverment security is for-profit Airline Contractors. What you get are Foreign Minimum-Wagers with about 15 minutes of training and can barely speak English. The whole talk of Contract Security is so the "no-bid contract gravy train" can continue. Republicans never wanted goverment security so they have worked tirelessly to undermind it. But just look at the stories of contractor, Blackwater Security in Iraq and Afghanistan, what a mess that's been. The military hates them because they have to risk their lives to clean up the mess (PR or military) Blackwater causes.
Frequent fliers realize the difference government takeover of airport security has made in making travel safer. Without it, it will be back to "for show" security as just another Marketing expense. This has everything to do with politics and not security.
TSA's screw-ups have been directly related to the inept upper management. From the get-go, the Agency has been run by the Republicans as a "no-bid contract gray train" for their big contributors and as a white-collage patronage pool for party hacks. The release of that SOP on the Internet was by one of them trying to generate a "contact security" bid.

Feb 7th 2010 10:42AM I am a TSA employee, and I remember when employees were fired when it was found that they had past criminal activity. Sounds like someone locally is pushing some buttons to protect a pal.
Seven New Members Elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Feb 7th 2010 12:38AM Its only because the Saints are in this Super Bowl that they pass up Richard Dent, who ranks higher (3rd all-time in Sacks), for Jackson. More Sacks, more fumble recoveries, more interceptions, and even a 7 Sacks in a Championship Game. Jackson is just a "made for TV" selection. Shame on you voting members.
